Daily costs

Here is an analysis of my costs as a PhD student.

The idea arose from the fact that I kept almost all my receipts. That's a lot of receipts. And even though I could have just thrown them away while I was moving out, I thought it was better to analyze them first (no, I've never heard of professional deformation before).

So here is a snapshot of my PhD student life, in three very similar plots. The only difference is the y-axis scale. In the first one, the y-axis scale is set such that it gives an overview of all costs.

In the second plot, the y-axis focuses more on the monthly costs that were due for the appartment.

Finally, the daily expenses are highlighted with a narrower y-axis scale.
